The Nothing Phone 3 specifications reveal that the London-based tech startup is ready to enter the highly competitive market of premium high-end smartphones. As one of the most anticipated devices of 2025, the Nothing Phone 3 brings a complete redesign compared to its predecessor.

While the unique transparent back cover, a signature of Nothing’s identity, has been retained, the glyph lighting has been replaced with what is now called the Glyph Matrix.

The Glyph Matrix is a monochrome LED display located at the top right corner of the Nothing Phone 3’s rear. It features 489 individually controlled LEDs that display caller ID, app-specific messages, animations, and system status notifications, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.

Camera

The Nothing Phone 3 specifications showcase a versatile triple rear camera system: a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP 70mm equivalent periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and telemacro capabilities, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The periscope lens enables detailed shots of objects as close as 10 cm. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera is neatly positioned within the dot-in-display.
